Research

  • At Reykjavik University, my summer internship focused on exploring the User Experience (UX) landscape in the Icelandic software industry. Through engaging interviews with five UX professionals, I delved into current industry practices and challenges.

    Key Achievements:

    • Research Methodology: Utilized the Braun and Clarke method to analyze interview data, ensuring a thorough and insightful understanding of UX trends.

    • Research Paper: Authored a paper detailing these findings, which was selected for presentation at the 2023 BCS HCI conference and nominated for submission to the BCS’s HCI journal, “Interacting with Computers.”

This internship was a fantastic opportunity to blend academic learning with real-world UX insights, significantly enhancing my understanding of the field.
